Family Owned Since 1997

EST. 1997.JPG

Our kitchen highlights quality above all, with hand-cut steaks, beautifully prepared seafood, and dishes often topped with our signature Rahkee sauce. Favorites like the Catfish DeSiard have gained statewide attention, and in 2002 the Weems family - founders Don and Sam, along with Don's son Clay - were honored as Louisiana's Restaurateurs of the Year.

Housed in a historic 1930s building once known as The Three Mile Inn, the space has also served as a WWII NCO Club with a glass-bottom dance floor as well as The Siesta, a beloved college hangout through the 1990s. After purchasing the building in 1996, the Weems family transformed the property into the restaurant you know today, with an expansion in 2003 to include a West Wing and the bayou-side deck.

Today, the restaurant remains a true family effort, led by Sam, his wife Jane, daughter Emma, and their nephew Brad, continuing a legacy of great food, warm hospitality, and a bayou view that can't be matched.

General Manager: Elizabeth (Lizz) Lamb.

About The Waterfront Grill

Since opening on Valentine's Day 1997, we've earned a reputation as one of Monroe's favorite restaurants.
